What are lab confirmation services?

Lab confirmation services from Drug Test Central allow customers to confirm positive test results with the aid of a professional laboratory. Sometimes cross-reactions occur that spark a positive test result. Our professional laboratory partner can confirm or deny positive tests and give you peace of mind.

How do I send my sample to the lab?

If you purchase a lab confirmation service, you will receive a Lab Confirmation Instruction sheet and a label.

Each sample is assigned a Sample Number. This will be found on two portions of the Lab Confirmation Instruction sheet and on the label you receive. After closing the lid on the sample, place the label with your Sample Number across the top of the cup.

Fill out the contact information on the bottom portion of the Lab Confirmation Instruction sheet, and check the box(es) next to which drug(s) you would like the lab to test for. NOTE: The number of drugs you select must match the number you purchased.

Tear off the bottom portion of the Lab Confirmation Instruction sheet and place it with the sample in the enclosed shipping box. Tape the box shut, and bring the packaged sample to a United States Postal Service location for shipment processing (We have found USPS to be the most cost-effective and convenient shipping method.)

How do I receive my test results?

You can receive your test results by calling Drug Test Central at 800.571.3135. You will need your Sample Number. NOTE: Results are processed by the lab within 24 – 48 hours of receipt. Ask your shipping agent how long it will take for your sample to arrive at the lab. Then call the number above 24 – 48 hours after the expected arrival date.
